An old name, back in practice.
Darkness & Light Productions started in the early 2000s as a web design and hosting consultancy — the era of hand-cut layouts, FTP deploys and shared servers you knew by hostname.
The name went quiet while the work continued elsewhere: two decades of software design and development, mostly in the .NET world, mostly for people who needed a system to do a real job rather than a demo to impress anyone.
It's back now as an independent studio, and deliberately small. The offer is the same as it was in 2002 — build the thing, host the thing, look after the thing — with the addition of everything learned since about applications that have to survive contact with a business.
If you have a website that embarrasses you, a spreadsheet doing a database's job, or an application nobody wants to touch anymore, that's the work.
